Ensemble Investments, LLC is proud to announce the Courtyard Philadelphia South at the Navy Yard, an Ensemble property, has won a Marriott Design Excellence award for Best Custom Project.
Ensemble received the prestigious award at the CONNECT Conference, December 9 through 11, in Kissimmee, Florida.
Marriott bestows these awards to businesses every 18 months for standout projects in a range of categories, including Best Custom Project, Best Opening, Best Prototype Project, Guest Satisfaction Excellence and Outstanding Contribution. The projects that perform exceptionally well in a specific category under Marriott’s Architecture & Construction group guidelines are judged worthy of the design awards.

The contemporary Courtyard Philadelphia South at The Navy Yard opened in January 2014 after 15 months of construction, with numerous modern and environmentally-friendly amenities, including LEED certification for energy efficiency. Style and relevance within the context of the exceptionally master planned Philadelphia Navy Yard were cornerstones of the hotel’s development.
Beyond its striking facade, the hotel’s 172 guest rooms feature spacious bathrooms, a Marriott Bistro Bar, and modern fitness and meeting spaces.
