On June 7, the Navy Yard came alive with joy, music, and fun as we welcomed the public to celebrate PIDC’s major milestone: 25 years of driving job growth and development at the Navy Yard, made possible through the support of our investors, stakeholders, and partners.
Families gathered under sunny skies at Central Green to enjoy live music by local band OTC, a special appearance from the beloved Phillie Phanatic, delicious food truck fare, games, and activities for all ages.
Family Fest showcased the Navy Yard’s transformation from a closed naval base into a thriving campus with 150 companies and over 16,000 employees and a place where people can gather together to spend time.
