Attendees can enjoy live music, delicious food, Swoop! prize opportunities, and more fun for all ages
We’re excited to announce that the Navy Yard is bringing back its highly anticipated Night Festival on Thursday, September 12 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Crescent Park. This all-ages event promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with live music, fantastic food and activities for the whole family. This year’s festival will also feature exciting to-be-revealed art installations at the Navy Yard.
Local vendors will offer a diverse array of products and crafts while Philly’s favorite food trucks serve up snacks and adult beverages. Inflatable games will keep kids entertained for hours. The Night Festival will host live music from singer-songwriters O.T.C. Collective. And we’ll have special appearances by Swoop and Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders, in anticipation for the Eagles’ home opener to be held at the neighboring Sports Complex on September 16.
“We’re excited to bring back our Night Festival for its second year,” said Kate McNamara, PIDC’s executive vice president at the Navy Yard. “For the past 24 years, PIDC has worked to build a community at the Navy Yard, redeveloping the former military base into a thriving and diverse business campus with recreational amenities for all Philadelphians. We’re excited to welcome residents to the campus next year, which is the first time we’ve had residential since the base closed, and it is events like the Night Festival that help us activate the public spaces and amenities down at the Navy Yard, showcasing the vibrant spirit of the community we’re building every day.”
