Thousands of families and local business leaders will join together on Sunday, April 15 at the Navy Yard for March for Babies, which bands communities together to fight for the health of all moms and babies.
“When you March for Babies, you make a statement about the world you want to live in–one in which healthy moms and strong babies are a priority for us all,” – Seth Hall, Senior Vice President, Customer Service, Philadelphia Insurance Companies, and Philadelphia March for Babies and Run for Babies chair. “It is a day for everyone. Together we hope for the day when all moms and babies are healthy. We remember those babies we lost. We celebrate every baby.”
Participation in March for Babies provides a memorable and rewarding day for the whole family. Everyone can enjoy live music, a petting zoo, fun activities for the kids, and Wawa coffee. Children ages 1 -10 can take part in the Superhero Sprint and become a superhero for the day, complete with a purple March of Dimes superhero cape.
On-site registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with the 5K walk kicking off at 9:30 a.m. Register today at marchforbabies.org. In addition to the walking event, March of Dimes will also hold Run for Babies, a 5K and 10K run that blends the benefits of physical activity, community involvement, and personal giving.
