RevZilla and PIDC Partner on Expansion

RevZilla.com and PIDC are excited to announce the expansion of RevZilla’s headquarters at The Navy Yard! Just a year ago, the company moved into its state-of-the-art office, showroom, and warehouse headquarters at 4020 S. 26th Street in The Navy Yard Commerce Center, developed  by Liberty Property Trust/Synterra Partners. Now, RevZilla will be adding additional warehouse space, a 65,000-square-foot building, which will become RevZilla’s new East Coast warehouse and fulfillment center.

To keep up with its rapid growth and expansion, RevZilla will hire 60 new employees over the next year, adding to the 100 employees already on staff at The Navy Yard.

In 2007, armed with a keen knowledge of eCommerce and marketing know-how, RevZilla’s three co-founders, Nick Auger, Anthony Bucci and Matt Kull, quit their jobs and launched an internet company that focused on a vertical they were passionate about – motorcycles. Utilizing proprietary technology developed by the founders, they built RevZilla.com as an online destination for premium motorcycle apparel, parts, and accessories and are riding a continued wave of explosive growth. Now a multi-million dollar enterprise, RevZilla continues to drive new and innovative approaches to online commerce, while fostering a great company culture that includes: celebrating major holidays like Halloween, Talk Like a Pirate Day, and ZillaPalooza; company-wide paintball outings; dunking one of the co-founders; and constructing a halfpipe adjacent to its “corporate” headquarters (details coming soon!).

PIDC is thrilled to partner with RevZilla at The Navy Yard to accommodate RevZilla’s need for expanded space at the dynamic, growing campus. The entrepreneurial spirit is thriving in Philadelphia, as more and more young business professionals like the RevZilla co-founders follow their passion and develop exciting, successful new businesses in the city.

For RevZilla, The Navy Yard expansion provides an opportunity for the tech company to remain and grow in Philadelphia. “The city is our home,” said co-founder Anthony Bucci. “This is where we built RevZilla. Philadelphia is part of our company’s DNA, and we’re excited to be able to continue growing here with the support of partners like PIDC, Liberty Property Trust, and the City of Philadelphia.”
