Bennett Compost is coming down to teach us everything there is to know about composting!
Join us for a hands-on Composting Workshop taught by Bennett Compost. This workshop is designed to teach you how to transform your kitchen scraps and garden waste into rich, organic compost.
What you’ll learn:
- The science behind composting: how decomposition works
- What to compost (and what to avoid)
- How to maintain the right balance of greens and browns
- Troubleshooting common composting issues (odors, pests, slow breakdown)
- Different composting methods: backyard bins, tumblers, and indoor systems
Workshop Features:

- Tips for apartment dwellers and those with limited outdoor space

Each participant will receive soil products to take home.
