The next cohort of the Skills Initiative at the Navy Yard is now accepting applications for the Industrial Trades Program in partnership with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD).
Applications will be accepted until Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 5pm.
What is the Industrial Trades Program?
This program was built to prepare and connect graduates for a two-year opportunity as union electrician trainees with the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) at the Navy Yard.
Trainees learn theoretical instruction and complete hands-on training to become electricians, supporting the functionality of naval machinery.
Please note: To be considered for a role, applicants must obtain an SF-86 National Security Clearance, which can take several months.
