PIDC and Ensemble/Mosaic partnered to host a retail tenant outreach event at the Navy Yard on February 1. The event was held at Ensemble/Mosaic’s office in the heart of the Navy Yard.
The goal of the event was to attract and engage with qualified tenants interested in leasing retail spaces in the emerging Navy Yard neighborhood. Attendees discovered valuable insights into financing options, explored available retail spaces, and took guided tours to get an up-close look at potential leasing opportunities at the Navy Yard.
Adding additional retail options at the Navy Yard is an essential element of the overall strategy of the new Navy Yard Plan that PIDC and Ensemble/Mosaic released in 2022. The retail strategy facilitates the Plan goals of creating inclusive and welcoming spaces and equitable business growth opportunities by ensuring that retail spaces are made accessible to minority- and women-owned businesses, and that goods and services are accessible to all employees and soon-to-be residents.
The next retail tenant event is scheduled for March 21 and updates will be posted on our website and social media when more information is available.
