Beginning Monday, March 4 through Tuesday, March 12, the inbound lanes of League Island Boulevard are scheduled to be closed from Broad St – Intrepid Ave for underground utility work. The closure is expected to last seven business days and is expected to reopen on Wednesday, March 13.
What to Expect
1. The inbound lanes of League Island Boulevard will be CLOSED 24/7 through the duration of the work.
2. The intersections at Crescent Dr and Intrepid Ave will remain open and lot access to Five Crescent will still be accessible.
3. Inbound Navy Yard traffic will be rerouted down Broad St while work is completed. There will be no left (inbound) turns at the Broad St & League Island Blvd intersection.
4. The outbound lanes of League Island Boulevard will remain OPEN during the project.
Impact on Navy Yard Transit
5. The League Island Blvd & Crescent Dr shuttle stop will be closed during the project and both the NRG Loop and Center City Express will be detoured around the closure.
