Students from F. Amedee Bregy Elementary School (Bregy Elementary) and D. Newlin Fell School (Fell Elementary) celebrated the end of the school year with a fun day of activities at The Navy Yard May 31.

Students from both schools brought their school spirit out for friendly competition in several different events including tug-o-war, water carry, soccer darts, hula hoop ring toss, bean bag toss, potato sack races, and an egg relay. Everyone then left a winner with water ice and pretzels.

The Navy Yard supports Bregy and Fell elementary schools through initiatives such as school supply drives and engagement activities like field days in order to build strong relationships with the community and support the students on their journey towards success and achievements both academically and in their everyday lives.

The Navy Yard has more than 20 acres of open-to-the-public parks and greenspaces. The Navy Yard is home to more than 150 businesses and more than 15,000 employees. With the Navy Yard Plan, an additional 12,000 more employees are expected to come to the campus in the next 15-20 years and more than 600 residential units are expected to open in the fall of 2025.
