The next cohort of the Skills Initiative at the Navy Yard is now accepting applications until Monday, May 19, at 5 p.m.
We are now accepting applications for our next partnership with Iovance Biotherapeutics for the Asceptic Manufacturing Program.
What is the Aseptic Manufacturing Program?
This program prepares graduates with workplace and technical skills to be successful in the life science industry. Through this program, graduates will be prepared to connect to Aseptic Manufacturing Technician roles with Iovance Biotherapeutics where they will support the production of cell therapies to treat disease.
In this program, we offer:
- Cutting-edge job connection strategies resulting in 93% of graduates finding employment
- A $150 weekly stipend while in training
- A $560 weekly stipend during one-the-job training experience with Iovance
- A college-adapted course to provide participants with a foundational knowledge in life sciences and biomanufacturing at Thomas Jefferson University
- For select candidates, the opportunity to interview for open roles starting at $27/hour at Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc., based in the Navy Yard
