Bring Your Child to the NAVY YARD Day!! Welcoming children ages 6-13 for a day of activities.

The Navy Yard will be hosting the annual Bring Your Child to Work Day. We have a day full of activities planned for your children from ages 6-13. Please register your kid(s) today! 

Once registered, you will receive an email before the event with additional information.

Morning Activities 10AM-12PM

Drop-in (sign up not required)

  • Inflatable Game Activities
  • Petting Zoo
  • Truck Tour with Philly Fire Department

Workshop Sessions 10AM-2PM

Sign up required during registration

  • STEM Workshop: City Building with Snapology
  • Gardening Workshop with Black Girls With Green Thumbs
  • Apiary Workshop with Half Mad Honey (Safe for Kids)
  • Kid Yoga with Alchemy X (Navy Yard’s free fitness programming partner for Wellness Wednesdays)

Afternoon Activity 1PM-2PM

Drop-in (sign up not required)

  • Shipbuilding activity with Hanwha Philly Shipyard (1-2PM)

All activities and sessions are subject to change.

 

Note: Lunch will not be provided. Lunches can be brought from home or can be purchased from our Lunch Truck Lineup vendors (11am-2PM), URBN’s Shop 543, Gatehouse, or Courtyard. Read more here about food options at the Navy Yard.
