The Navy Yard AV Shuttle

The region’s first autonomous vehicle (AV) shuttle has officially arrived at the Philadelphia Navy Yard and began operations February 27. The arrival of the electric, zero-emissions shuttle comes after much planning, testing, and coordination between public and private organizations.

The AV shuttle is another example of the Navy Yard’s commitment to long-term sustainability and resiliency by helping reduce the use of single-occupancy vehicles, lessen congestion, and decrease carbon emissions on a campus home to 150 businesses and 15,000 employees.

The Schedule & Stops

The AV Shuttle is scheduled to run Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The schedule will be posted on our website and on the Navy Yard Transit App (Download for your Apple or Android device).

AV Shuttle Stop Locations

The AV Shuttle will initially have 4 stops conveniently located across the campus connecting Navy Yard employees to campus amenities.

The stops will be located at:

  • Rouse Blvd & Intrepid Ave (Courtyard by Marriott)
  • Broad St & Crescent Ave (Gatehouse)
  • 15th St & Kitty Hawk Ave (DiNic’s)
  • 15th & Flagship Ave (URBN Campus/Shop 543)
