June 1 – Family Fest: Join us for an unforgettable start to summer! June 2 – Girls on the Run 5K: Girls on the Run inspires girls of all abilities to recognize their individual strengths, while building a sense of connection in a team setting. At the end of the season, the team completes a 5K together, which provides a tangible sense of accomplishment and sets a confident mindset into motion. LEARN MORE
June 5, 12, 19, 26 – Wellness Wednesdays: You spoke, and we listened! Last year’s health and wellness programming with Alchemy X was such a huge hit with our community that we are partnering with them again to bring back free and open-to-the-public fitness classes. READ MORE & REGISTER
June 8 & 12 – Half Mad Honey Hive Tour: Half Mad Honey is not just another beekeeping farm, but an urban organization that is rooted in education, growth, peer support, and recovery. On the tour you will learn about the community of honey bees, how bees make honey, and the use of bee products throughout history and medicine. LEARN MORE
June 8 – Philly Pride Run: Philly Pride Run is back for its 8th year of loud and proud running through the streets of the Navy Yard. All runners and local running groups are invited to celebrate Pride with the LGBTQ+ communities by doing what they do best: running and bringing communities closer! REGISTER TODAY!
June 12 – UrbanHomestead-ish Workshop – Tea Time:Summer vibes are captured perfectly with a refreshing glass of freshly brewed tea or squeezed lemonade. Elevate these classic drinks by creating herbal and fruit-infused simple syrups for a burst of delightful flavors! REGISTER TODAY!
June 12 – 16 – EgoPo Classic Theater: Ramayana: More than 28 years in the making, EgoPo presents the world-premiere re-telling of the ancient Hindu epic in collaboration with two of Indonesia’s vanguards in the performing arts. Performances will be surrounded by Rama’s Fest, a week-long celebration of Indonesian food and culture. LEARN MORE
June 13 – Navy Yard Employee Networking Happy Hour: Gatehouse is hosting our second quarter Networking Happy Hour from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM. There will be free food, free drinks, and games to enjoy. THIS EVENT IS FOR EMPLOYEES AT THE NAVY YARD ONLY AND REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. REGISTER TODAY
June 18 – Navy Yard Night @ Citizens Bank Park: Join Navy Yard employees, friends, and family at Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday, June 18 at 6:40 p.m. when the Phillies host the San Diego Padres. This game is sure to sell out! LEARN MORE & GET TICKETS
June 28 – CreativeMornings: CreativeMornings is a monthly breakfast lecture series for the creative community in the City of Brotherly Love. All events are free of charge and include a 20-minute talk, plus coffee! Registration information coming soon and will be posted on our social media and navyyard.org/events.
Every Tuesday – Navy Yard Running Club: The Navy Yard Running Club is an all-levels group open to anyone and is always free. The group meets at 12th and Constitution and runs between 2-5 miles, or interval runs finishing up at Gatehouse for HH. Stay up-to-date on running club news, schedule changes, etc. by following the NYRC on Facebook and Instagram.
2nd & 4th Wednesdays – Sub & Surface Toastmasters Club: Toastmasters is an international organization to improve speaking and leadership skills. The club is open to the public. No registration required. Learn More
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays – Lunch Truck Lineup: Lunch Truck Lineup is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays! We always have some of your favorite trucks on the schedule, come down and check it out!
