Mercer Cafe at the Navy Yard Announces Expanded Hours and New Menu Services

Recently celebrating its two and a half year anniversary, Mercer Café at the Navy Yard just announced that it will begin to offer dinner service on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights, as well as adding a long awaited breakfast/brunch service on Saturday mornings. As always, diners are welcome to “BYOB,” or bring your own bottle.

In the Neighborhood: The Galley Café

The Galley Café is located in the lobby of the Vincera Institute at the Navy Yard, offering a seasonally inspired, nutritious menu. The Galley Café sources locally from South Street Bagels and offers vegan options from Vegan Commissary, as well as a smoothie bar and organic and fair trade coffee from One Village Coffee. 

New Federal Award to Expand Navy Yard Shuttle Service

PIDC, Philadelphia’s public-private economic development corporation, today announced it will expand its popular shuttle service at the Navy Yard, as a result of receiving funding from the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC). The $416,280 award is part of the Competitive Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Program that funds projects to improve air quality

Central Green Receives Three Prestigious Development and Design Awards

The Navy Yard is pleased to announce the addition of a new, convenient Zipcar car sharing location! Employees at The Navy Yard and the nearby South Philadelphia neighborhood now have access to “wheels when you want them” with the addition of a Zipcar centrally located outside of 201 Rouse Boulevard.
