In February, we launched the region’s first autonomous vehicle (AV) shuttle at the Navy Yard. The arrival of the electric, zero-emissions shuttle comes after much planning, testing, and coordination between public and private organizations.
The AV shuttle is another example of the Navy Yard’s commitment to long-term sustainability and resiliency by helping reduce the use of single-occupancy vehicles, lessen congestion, and decrease carbon emissions on a campus home to 150 businesses and 15,000 employees.
Take the Survey
If you had the opportunity to ride it, we would like you to tell us about your experience. The survey aims to understand better your needs as a commuter, your perceptions, and your experience riding the automated shuttle.
Your responses to this voluntary survey will help us make informed decisions on improving the ride quality. The survey consists of 15 questions, and it should take about 5 minutes to complete. The survey allows you to move back and forth between pages in case you wish to modify your responses. Please note that the survey does not collect any identifiable information. It collects the non-identifiable demographic data of gender and age group. To help us collect reliable and meaningful information related to your experience with the automated shuttle, it is important that you answer all questions in the questionnaire. The results will be reported in aggregate.
You can access the survey here or from our website at www.navyyard.org/av-shuttle.
