Rhoads Industries Announces Start of 4-Year Welding Apprenticeship Program
Last month, Rhoads Industries announced it was approved for registration with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Department of Labor to conduct a Welding Apprenticeship Program. Founded in 1896, Rhoads is a family-owned and operated multidiscipline provider of industrial fabrication, installation, and maintenance services for commercial and government projects, headquartered at the Navy Yard.
Five Navy Yard Companies Receive KIZ Tax Credit Awards to Support Innovation and Job Growth
To strengthen Pennsylvania as a national leader for technology development and innovation, Governor Tom Corbett announced the award of more than $17 million in tax credits to more than 200 Pennsylvania start-up companies to support new growth, investment, and job creation.
